Introducing the Supporter Tier: An Invitation to Go Further
When I first started writing here, my hope was that no one would feel alone in their journey. Today I’m opening up another way to walk alongside you – an addition on this Substack called the supporter tier. This is an optional paid subscription for those who want to engage more deeply and help this community grow.
Some of you have told me that the words and resources I share have offered guidance or comfort in difficult times. That feedback is what keeps me going. Creating them takes time, care, and energy, and your support allows me to keep creating and sharing it widely with those who need it most.
That’s why I want to share this next step with you, while also reassuring you that nothing will change for free readers. Everything I’ve shared so far, and every weekly article I continue to publish, will remain free and accessible to anyone who needs them. That matters deeply to me.
🌿 What I’ll Be Sharing with Supporters
If you choose to join, you’ll have access to:
1 Supporter-Only Post Each Month — deeper reflections, personal stories, and insights I don’t share publicly.
Monthly Survivor Q&A — where I answer 3–5 of your questions with care and honesty.
Monthly Printable — with journaling prompts, mindset tools, and practical education about abuse and healing.
Private Chat Access — weekly prompts, mini check-ins, and a gentle space for connection.
To give you a taste of what supporter printables will look like, I’ve created one you can download for free today. This way, you can see the kind of resource I’ll be creating each month.
🩵 Why Your Support Matters
This is more than a subscription. It’s a chance to receive extra tools and connection beyond what I share publicly, and to be part of a smaller circle where I can offer more of my time and energy.
It also helps me reach more people and bring greater awareness to the reality of domestic abuse and coercive control.
I know what it feels like to be isolated, to carry confusion and struggle in silence, and to wonder how to make sense of it all.
My hope is that this supporter space helps you feel less alone, whether you’re finding the strength to leave, trying to understand what you’ve been through, or continuing on your healing journey.
💫 An Invitation to Join Me
If it feels right for you, I’d love to welcome you as a supporter. Click here to join.
And if not, please know that your presence here is already enough. Simply knowing these words reach someone who needs them is what makes this community matter.
With gratitude and care,
Samara

I would love to be able to afford a paid subscription at any level. Sadly, as a retired nurse whose controller/abuser was financially abusive, I cannot.
